Christmas Break will be from December 20th through January 5th. I hope that everyone has the opportunity to relax and spend time with their families celebrating! School will be back in session on Tuesday, January 6th. The high school office will be closed over break, but if you have an emergent need, please call District Office at (765) 836-4816.

Please join us at our next Big Idea Event on Thursday, December 18th anytime from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. This has been rescheduled from Monday, December 15th because of the weather. This is open to ALL Blue River Valley families and we hope that you will take advantage of the free resources!!

The Choral Department is trying to raise money for their Choir expenses at two upcoming events. They will be raffling off a donated XBox. It is an X Series 1TB XBox it retails at $845. In addition to selling the red and blue tickets at Athletic events and our Concert we will run a "Wing Span" Special where people can get the length of their arm span in tickets for $30.

Join us on Friday, December 19th for the Boys Basketball game against Daleville. Boomer from the Pacers will be here to greet fans, have a performance halftime show, and have some giveaways. This is also our Junior Vikings recognition evening. Hope you'll join us for a fun evening!

There has been some uptick in illness with the fall season. If your child gets sick or feels sick at school, please remind them that the protocol is to report to the nurse in the office first. She will document symptoms and then inform parents when their child needs to go home. It is important that we are consistent and following protocols.

If your child is sick, please make sure you call them in and let us know. Reminder that they need to be fever free for 24 hours in order to return to school. Thank you for your assistance with this.

ALL BRV students can receive a FREE hot breakfast! Students need to stop by the cafeteria when they get to school and can choose between a hot breakfast or a grab-and-go. Remind your child to take advantage of this opportunity every morning!
