Week of June 08, 2026
Check out the INCREDIBLE world map thought up and drawn out by one of our Fantasy & Science Fiction Students, Yassan! Terrific work!
Principal's Message
The first week of June has turned out to be a busy one indeed with exciting in-person classroom presentations (see some pictures of Mr. Downing presenting to Mr. Andersen's Biology 30 class), matching mis-matched teacher outfits (see Mrs. Bencz and Mrs. Dickson's coordination), office updates featuring Pacer alumni (Ms. Holmes is proud of all her graduates), and wrapped up the week with our annual Year End BBQ featuring help from our Edson Area Trustees Acorn and Bowman, in addition to Mrs. Fosshiem's husband!
The work we do here at PCHS is truly not possible without the incredible people on staff an our volunteers that make it happen, so thank you to all!
Please take note of when your Pacer has exams to wrap up the year. It is important to note that students are required to attend their scheduled exams and all regular classes until exam week. A very important reminder to all students that have exams prior to the designated exam week, that classes are continuing after your exam is complete. Best exam preparation practice includes starting early with review and connecting with your teachers if you need any additional help preparing for your exams.
Don't forget, we run Study Hall every day at Lunch (with either Andersen or Bencz, depending on the day)!

Did you know that as we share a parking lot with Ecole Pine Grove Middle School, we actually do quite a bit of collaborating? We run options classes for Grade 7/8 students as well as tours and the occasional joint assembly - it is a lot of fun working with both Mr. Ripkens and Mrs. Peitre!
If you do not already follow our school's Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/pchspacers), please consider doing so as we update it regularly. Send any questions our way at (780) 723-6035 or pop by anytime - we always welcome a visit!

Pacer Pursuits
This past week, we had many athletes in action, with Pacers attending Provincials for Track & Field and our Pacers Football team playing their first Jamboree game at HRH! Check out some of the pictures of them in action below. While the year is wrapping up, it is terrific to see our athletes pursuing both their passion and their academics!
Pacers in the Community
Does your Pacer have a job lined up over the summer?
Would they like to count the hours they are working towards earning credits towards their High School Diploma?
Then maybe Summer Work Experience and RAP is a good fit!
Students who complete the prerequisite credit and complete a contract are eligible to count hours worked over the summer towards credits, with every 25 hours worked counting as a credit. Interested? Reach out to one of our Career & Academic Advisors for more information before June 12th, 2026.
