River Oaks Elementary 2026-2027
School report cards are out, and River Oaks Elementary School earned an Excellent! The SC Department of Education issues school report cards, and the results reflect our students' academic achievement and the schoolβs environment.
A rating of Excellent indicates that our schoolβs performance substantially exceeds the criteria to ensure all students meet the Profile of the SC Graduate. A big factor in our Excellent rating was our academic achievement in both English Language Arts and Math.
𧦠Socktober π§¦

π Library Reading Challenge π
Students in Ms. Beach and Ms. Wagner's classes, child development through 1st grade classes and 2nd through 3rd grade classes will have the opportunity to participate in a reading challenge October 5th-December 15th where they complete two sides of a bingo card with a variety of reading choices. Students in 3rd -5th grades will read different genres based on the challenge sheet. They rate the books and write a three sentence summary of the book.
Every participant that completes the challenge will receive a certificate. The top reader in each class will receive a ribbon and a surprise. The top reader in each grade level will receive a medallion and a treat bag.
ROE Staff will join the challenge by adding their pages read in Beanstack. The library will track their progress with a frosty thermometer. The top three staff readers will receive a gift bag. Students can monitor their teacher's progress and encourage them to read.
Thank you to the amazing ROE PTO for sponsoring the ribbons and prizes!
Please remember to document your pages read in Beanstack. #RisewithReading
