PENNY HARVEST
Penny Harvest ends December 5th! Penny Harvest Donations can be made with cash, coin, or check payable to “See Kids Dream”. Students will be researching and interviewing non-profits to direct Penny Harvest donations. Thank you for your support!

KINDERGARTEN "PURPOSEFUL PLAY" ITEMS
Have you been meaning to clean out the playroom because your kids have outgrown certain toys? The kindergarten team can put those toys to good use! They are looking for gently used items for "purposeful play" in the classroom. Please do not buy anything!

PERC FREE TRAINING
PERC is partnering with the Franklin County Suicide Prevention Coalition to offer a free QPR training to parents and educators. This is a virtual training on December 4th from 5:30p-7:00p.
QPR training stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer, an emergency mental health intervention program designed to teach anyone how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and help someone get professional help.

AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
There are a number of after school classes available for our Deer Run students, including art, robotics, fashion, engineering, and drama - there is something for everyone! Visit this link for registration information!
KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS
Are you signed up for "Kroger Community Rewards"? With a few simple steps, you can link your Kroger Shop Card to Deer Run and a small donation will be made to our school every time you shop. It does not cost you anything and it does not pull from your rewards.
Follow these steps to sign up -
- Sign in to your digital Kroger account on the app or your computer.
- In the drop down on the left hand side, Find "Rewards", then select "Community Rewards". On the website, click on "My Account" under your name, and then select "Community Rewards".
- Search for "Deer Run Elementary School", select, and click "Save". Your selected organization will now display in the Kroger Community Rewards section of your account.

CURRENT VOLUNTEERS: Be sure to double check the expiration date on your volunteer card. You cannot "renew" your card and instead must complete the background check process again before it expires. Thank you for attending to this well in advance of your volunteering date.
