Do you have clothes that your child has outgrown? The nurse's office would love your clothing donations for students that have accidents or spills. They especially need more bottoms (pants, shorts, etc).
Please send any donations you could provide with your child to school in a labeled bag ("for school nurse") or bring them by the front office. Thank you!
The Pflugerville ISD website has moved to a new design. One of the things they are hoping to include on the new website is campus testimonials. If you have a testimonial for Murchison, please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/4d6yvzReVbVNzrxA7
You may have seen the MES School Newspaper coming home with your child. We are so excited to have expanded it this year and are hoping to expand it even more! If you have a small business or know of one and would like to sponsor the printing of the school newspaper, please email me at carrie.quinney@pfisd.net and I will forward it along to the right place.
Hello! Ms.Grillo is excited to host our first Family Library Checkout Week at Murchison! This will be a time where adults can visit the library with their MES students and pick out books together! Adults will each be able to pick out up to 5 additional library books and check them out under their account. You must fill out the following form in order to attend: https://forms.gle/zoYVgF1Gu8V3owXm6
Time will be 7:05-7:30 before school starts. All students with adults may enter through the library outside door (Door 8). No need to badge in at the front. Adults will be asked to leave through that door as well, and students will go to class when the bell rings.
Family checkout week will be by last name during the week before Thanksgiving as follows:
Last Names A-F: Tuesday, November 19th
Last Names G-L: Wednesday, November 20th
Last Names M-R: Thursday, November 21st
Last Names S-Z: Friday, November 22nd
Books can be returned after Thanksgiving break, either directly from your student, or placed on the cart that will be placed at the front foyer of the school.
This will be a great way for students to stock up on extra books before the Thanksgiving Break! Again, please fill out the following form so Ms. Grillo can get your adult library card ready: https://forms.gle/zoYVgF1Gu8V3owXm6
Hope to see you soon in the library!
-Ms. Grillo
