Ashland Preschool Update

Welcome Back, Preschool Families!

We hope you and your family enjoyed a restful winter break. We are so excited to welcome our students back to school tomorrow and reconnect after time away!

During our first week back, we will be taking things slow and steady as we help children ease back into their school routines. Our focus will be on reviewing classroom expectations, daily schedules, and practicing our PBIS expectations of 🐝 Be Safe and 💛 Be Kind. This gentle reset helps children feel confident, secure, and ready to learn.

We are also looking forward to celebrating Bee Day on Thursday, January 8th! On Bee Day, we highlight positive choices, kindness, and safe behaviors through fun, developmentally appropriate activities that reinforce our PBIS expectations. Don’t forget to wear black and yellow to help us celebrate!

Calling all Ashland Preschool families! Registration for the 2026-2027 for current families and alumni will begin on January 6th at 7am through January 16th!

If your child receives a placement through Special Education, the Teams will be making recommendations during upcoming IEP meetings and will communicate that with you.

Open registration for the new families will begin on January 20th, at 7am, through February 6th.

Prospective families are invited to join us for an in-person information session at Pittaway on January 14th at 6:00 p.m. During this session, we will share information about the preschool program and review the registration process.

January 8: Bee Day - Wear Black and Yellow

January 16: No School - All Day professional Development for Staff

January 19: No School - Day

February 12: Winter Fest - 10am for AM classes, 1:30pm for PM and Full day classes

February 16-20: No School - February Break

• In-Person Registration Information Session for new families at Pittaway School, starting at 6pm

January 20 – February 6
• Registration opens for new families. Begins at 7:00 am via email
