Students and their families will be able to meet our elective teachers, ask questions, and learn how each course can support their interests, goals, and future plans. This event is designed to help students and families make informed decisions during the course verification process.
We look forward to seeing you this Thursday, January 8, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm starting in the theater with an introduction from our Principal, Ms. Agans.
Starting Second Semester Strong — Thank You for Showing Up, Cambridge!
Message from Cambridge High School Administration
As we begin the second semester and step into a new year, we want to pause and do something important first: say thank you. Because of the collective effort of our students, families, teachers, staff, and community partners, Cambridge High School is currently posting its strongest attendance rate in the past three years. That is a meaningful accomplishment — and one that deserves to be celebrated.
Across the country, schools continue to work through attendance challenges that emerged during and after COVID. Against that backdrop, what Cambridge has accomplished this year stands out. It reflects a shared commitment to learning, consistency, and showing up for one another. That success belongs to all of us.
We are especially proud of:
- Our students, who continue to show resilience, responsibility, and pride in being present and engaged
- Our families, whose routines, communication, and support make daily attendance possible
- Our teachers and staff, who create classrooms students want to be part of every day
- Our community and business partners, who reinforce the message that attendance matters beyond the school walls
When students are present, learning is stronger, relationships are deeper, and opportunities expand. Attendance isn’t just about being counted — it’s about being connected.
As we look ahead to the second semester, we’re treating this moment as both a fresh start and a chance to build on what’s working. New routines, new goals, and renewed energy can make a big difference, especially when paired with the strong habits our community has already established.
We encourage families and students to continue focusing on:
- Consistent routines that support rest and readiness
- Open communication when challenges arise
- Setting attendance goals and celebrating progress, big or small
Setbacks happen, and when they do, we face them together — with patience, encouragement, and support.
Cambridge Bears are ready to learn, grow, and achieve in 2026, and it starts with showing up. Thank you for being such an essential part of our success so far. We’re proud of where we are, excited about where we’re going, and grateful to walk this journey with you.
Here’s to a strong second semester — let’s keep being BRAVE and showing up.
With appreciation,
Cambridge High School Administration
