Mom to Brandon & Nathan (3rd graders)
WHEN: September 16-27
HOW TO WIN YOUR PRIZE:
- Each student will receive a flyer with their Boarding Pass.
- Parents can access the link or scan the QR code.
- Send at least 10 emails or texts to receive your Flight Number (completion code).
- Return the completed Boarding Pass to your teacher.
- Receive an awesome prize -- a monster pillow with a pizza blanket.
WHY: We need your help to fund the fun! Boggess PTA is seeing rising costs for events, class parties, teacher appreciation, and other ways we support Boggess. At the same time, our school has fewer students than in past years, which means a smaller membership base. The emails sent to friends and family will ask for donations to Boggess PTA so we can continue to provide excellent opportunities for our school.
We are searching for room parents, and we want you! Room parents help with things like:
- Helping plan, coordinate, and conduct grade level class parties, alongside the PTA grade coordinators.
- Helping with PTA events such as Fall Carnival as needed.
- Serving as a liaison between teacher’s needs and parent volunteers.
- Assisting teachers with projects required for the classroom (cutting, laminating, sorting, counting, etc.). This is usually done on a daily or weekly rotation basis through the classes. The room parent does not necessarily have to complete this work; however, he/she is responsible for scheduling parents in the class to get the work done on the day(s) that their class is assigned.
If you are interested, please fill out the form below BY SEPTEMBER 18.
