Principal's Update
Dear Parents and Families,
I’m excited to share some wonderful news about our school’s continued growth and success. While we are not yet able to release the single overall CCRPI score, the Georgia Department of Education has provided the performance results for each category, and I’m proud to share how our students and staff performed.
The CCRPI measures performance in four key areas:
Content (30%) – 76.10:
This measures how well students are mastering grade-level standards. We are seeing steady progress, and our instructional teams continue working hard to ensure every student grows academically.
Progress (35%) – 93.60:
This remains one of our greatest strengths. This score reflects exceptional academic growth from one year to the next—well above the state’s expectations.
Readiness (20%) – 88.90:
This area focuses on student engagement, attendance, and preparation for the next grade level. Such a strong score demonstrates the supportive environment our families and teachers help create every day.
Closing the Gap (15%) – 71.90:
While still an area of focus, this score shows the impact of our ongoing efforts to support all learners. We will continue to strengthen our strategies to ensure every student has the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
These results reflect the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers and staff, and the strong partnership we share with our families. Thank you for your continued support—it truly makes a difference.
As we move into the winter season, we remain committed to excellence and to helping every child succeed. I’m grateful for this community and proud of what we are accomplishing together.
Regards,
Principal Thomas Garrett
