CCA's March Character Trait: Faithfulness
The March character trait of the month at CCA is faithfulness. I asked three students what faithfulness means to them, and here are their responses. Lincoln from 2nd grade said, “It means having faith in someone.” Hollis from 4th grade said, “Whenever I’m sick or hurt I pray and trust God.” Liam from 3rd grade said, “It means people can have faith in you and you can have faith in them.” 1 Samuel 12:24 is a great verse about faithfulness; "Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart. For consider what great things he has done for you." – Jacob

Class Spotlight: Concert Band
The concert band class with Mrs. Townsend has been preparing for the upcoming Academic and Fine Arts Festival at Calvary University on April 11th. Students have been working on songs for this competition since January. Last week during band class Conner Craig, the youth pastor at Northeast Baptist Church, observed the band all 3 days, gave feedback and helped work through the trouble spots on competition pieces. He listened to the Junior High ensemble, High School Band and ensemble, and gave students tips to better the songs during performances at the festival. –Carissa
