Dear Wildcat Families,

As we enter the final weeks of school, it is important that students stay focused and continue completing their assignments and coursework, as there is still a great deal of learning to do before the end of the school year. We encourage families to regularly check grades and reach out to teachers with any questions or concerns regarding missing work or academic progress.

We also ask for your support in reminding students to continue following all school rules and expectations during the last few weeks of school. Please have conversations with your child about appropriate school behavior, including keeping hands to themselves, avoiding play fighting, not bringing dice or participating in gambling activities on campus, following the school dress code, and demonstrating respectful conduct at all times.

We look forward to hosting our History Fair as we celebrate America’s 205 years of history and heritage. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to finish the school year strong!

Best regards,

Admin team

Counselor Classroom Visits

Our counselor visited classed. During her presentation students participated in a fun and interactive group project about preparing for high school. In groups, students answered important questions about graduation credits, the importance of earning a diploma, A-G requirements, and ways to get ready for high school success. Each group also researched one high school in our district and shared interesting facts with the class. Students worked together to create and present posters within a 15-minute challenge!

AVID Lemonade

As part of the AVID Financial Literacy Unit, students combined lessons in business, marketing, math, and teamwork to create their own lemonade businesses. Student groups developed recipes, created brand names, calculated costs and profits, designed marketing pitches, and prepared storefront displays for Lemonade Showcase Day on 5/12/26. Fellow students sampled the lemonade and voted on categories such as Best Tasting Lemonade, Best Marketing, and Best Customer Service. It was a fun, creative, and delicious learning experience for all involved!
