Welcoming our new teachers
A great addition to Greenfield High
Dear Perry Families,
I hope youβre doing well! We have several exciting events and important updates to share as we wrap up October:
Volunteers
Fall is here, and weβre looking for wonderful volunteers to help make our upcoming fall festivities a fun and memorable experience for our Wildcats!
Whether you can lend a helping hand for a little while or throughout the event, your time and support make a difference!

Thank you for helping make our fall festivities extra special! πΎπ
π Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Earlier this month, we shared information about our Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Students and families are invited to decorate a pumpkin to resemble a book character. This is a great way to enjoy a fun family activity while promoting literacy!
Pumpkins may be brought to school the week of October 20
They will be sent home with your child on October 29
Contest winners will be announced on our school Facebook page
π Bullying Prevention Week
Next week is Bullying Prevention Week. Weβve been learning that bullying is repeated, intentional behavior involving a power imbalance.
This week, students brought home a flyer with more information. We also discussed how to support children through peer conflict and how to recognize when a situation might cross the line into bullying.
π Fall Leaning Fest β October 30
Weβre looking forward to our annual Fall Learning Fest on Thursday, October 29. Students will participate in fun, fall-themed academic activities throughout the day and may wear costumes to school.
In the afternoon, weβll hold a Costume Parade details for families who wish to attend will be shared next week.
As your child plans their costume, please remember:
No masks or toy weapons of any kind
No inflatable costumes
Costumes should allow students to participate in regular school activities comfortably and safely
π No School on October 30
Please note there is no school on Thursday, October 31.
π Parent-Teacher Conferences β November 23 & 24
Teachers will begin reaching out soon to schedule your conference time. These meetings are so important! November is a key point in the school year itβs the perfect time to review progress, set goals, and partner together to ensure your childβs continued growth and success.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Perry is a special place because of our community of families, students, and staff who all work together to help every child grow and learn every day.
Remember to check out the Wildcat Virtual Backpack periodically throughout the month for additional fliers and information about community events happening.
Warmly,
Katie Keafer
