Message from GHS Administration
Cardinals, we are about midway through the 3rd marking period and now is a great time to check in on your student’s progress on ParentVUE. If you have questions regarding their mastery in class, we encourage you to reach out to your student’s teachers to get more information and next steps.
For our Class of 2026, this final stretch of senior year can feel exciting and overwhelming all at once. Please remind your seniors to stay focused and finish strong. If you have any questions about their progress towards graduation, please reach out to their counselor.
Congratulations and good luck to our student athletes who are competing this week in various VHSL Regional and State events. Let’s cheer them on as they represent GHS with pride. Go Cardinals!
Information for all Students and Parents
Division wide Culture and Climate Survey Reminder
PWCS is conducting a Family Engagement Survey to gather your valuable feedback on how connected you feel to our school and other schools your children attend. You should have received the survey in your texts and emails from PWCS. The survey will close on February 28. If you haven't completed it yet, here is the link to the survey: Family Engagement Survey
Remember to fill out one survey for each school your children attend. Your feedback will help us make informed decisions to improve both our school and the entire school division in areas like engagement, environment, academic standards, and more. Thank you for helping us make our schools better for everyone!

Academic Advising Update
GHS school counselors have met with almost all US/VA History classes for rising 12th grade academic advising. If your student has not yet been met with, don’t worry! We will see them as soon as possible. We are excited to meet with your student, too. Parents should check their student’s requests in ParentVUE under Course Requests. Changes can be made via the change form on the Counseling Canvas page until May 8. We strongly encourage students and families to review the Academic Advising module on the Counseling Canvas page as we have posted many helpful resources. Many of the same resources are also on the GHS website.
