May & June 4K Newsletter

May is filled with caterpillars and butterflies... bugs and insects... frogs and turtles... and of course talking a LOT about Kindergarten! The Kindergarten transition process is not over, even though we've already had the K Transition Night. The month of May is when teachers are reading stories about Kindergarten, watching the video tours of elementary schools, and making crafts/activities to get kids excited about their future Kindergarten school!

If you're still looking into ideas for your little ones this summer, see what community options are available below! We want to let kids be kids and play and enjoy summer; however, if you're working and need to find somewhere safe for them to play - there are many options available throughout our community!

May 11th - No 4K (PD day for teachers)

May 15th - Deadline to register for Summer School!

May 25th - Memorial Day (no school)

June 4th - Last day of 4K at Cathedral

June 5th - Last day of 4K at Bryant, Cooper, Four Corners, Great Lakes & Northern Lights

June 5th - Last day of 4K at YMCA

June 16th - Summer School begins

Students currently enrolled in 4K can enroll through PowerSchool - directions are on the link above.

Check out all of our afternoon options on the summer school website too (parks and rec playground program, ymca wrap care, UWS camps, etc)
