As part of our ongoing efforts to make afternoon dismissal safer and more efficient, WCES will no longer be using the Pick My Kid app for car dismissal. Beginning next week, families will receive a new car dismissal tag that includes a QR code, student name, and grade level. We ask that all families display this tag by hanging it from their rearview mirror each day during pickup. These tags will help our staff quickly identify students and streamline the dismissal process.

Additionally, we are asking families to follow the established traffic pattern on Wells Road, including utilizing the high school bus loop and snaking through the designated route as outlined on the dismissal map. Following this procedure helps us maximize safety, reduce traffic congestion, and ensure a smoother, more efficient dismissal process for all students and families. Thank you for your cooperation and partnership as we work together to keep our Wildcats safe.

WCES is looking for enthusiastic staff members to serve as coaches for our Girls on the Run program this fall! You don't have to be a runner, just someone who is passionate about encouraging and inspiring girls to build confidence, develop life skills, and reach their full potential.

The season begins the week of September 21, and coach training is available on August 22 or August 29. If you're interested in making a lasting impact in the lives of our Wildcats, we'd love to have you join the team!

Please see the attached flyer for additional information and how to sign up. Thank you for considering this rewarding opportunity! Contact Meighan Melsheimer, mmelshei@pasco.k12.fl.us for questions and information πŸ’™πŸΎ
