Zoey is a hardworking and driven student who demonstrates independence, kindness, and determination in everything she does. She describes herself as athletic, kind, and independent, qualities that are evident through her commitment to soccer and track and her responsible approach to school. Zoey sets high expectations for herself, with a short-term goal of earning all A’s and B’s and a long-term goal of attending college to become a veterinarian. While she is not currently reading independently, she is engaged in class reading “The Monkey’s Paw” in ELA. Math is Zoey’s favorite subject because she is strong in it and has had positive experiences with her math teachers. Zoey is especially inspired by her 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Cabrera, who helped her build confidence in math and continues to be a caring and supportive role model in her life.

Zaidyn is a calm and focused student who approaches life with a relaxed, nonchalant attitude. He enjoys using F1 Studio and playing on his PlayStation VITA, hobbies that show his creativity and interest in technology. Zaidyn sets fun and meaningful goals for himself, including a short-term goal of stacking Sprite cans like at a carnival and a long-term goal of meeting LeBron James, reflecting his playful spirit and big dreams. He is currently reading the Bible and enjoys math because he finds it easy and engaging. Zaidyn is inspired by his 6th grade teacher, Mr. Risser, who he remembers as a great teacher and role model.
