May 15, 2026

Good Afternoon,

This week, the sounds of music truly filled the hallways of Pentucket as our Band, Chorus, and Orchestra programs held their annual jamborees. It was tremendous to see the collaboration between our elementary students and our middle-high school students as they performed together, learned from one another, and shared their passion for music. These events are always a wonderful reminder of the strength of our Fine and Performing Arts programs and the sense of community they help create across all grade levels.

We also had the opportunity this week to recognize our retiring teachers. Moments like these allow us to reflect on the incredible dedication, patience, and commitment it takes to build a long and meaningful career in education. Our retirees have impacted countless students, families, and colleagues over the years, and their contributions to Pentucket will not be forgotten. We thank them for the lasting mark they have left on our school community and wish them all the best in their retirement.

Pentucket Visual Art Department

I have some exciting news to share from the Pentucket Visual Art Department. The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has invited Ms. Nadeau to submit her student artwork to highlight in their May and June Showcase. Twenty pieces of artwork created by students from grades 7-12 will represent Pentucket. This is an exciting opportunity for the students, school and visual arts program. Join me in congratulating the accomplishments of these young artists.

You can view this work on display at the PRMHS Art Show on May 19th, 6-7 pm.

Dear Parent/Guardian,
In the next few weeks, the Middle/High School counseling and health staff will begin a health screening for 7th and 9th graders called SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment). SBIRT is used to screen for alcohol, nicotine, tobacco, and other drug use. This health screening is required by Massachusetts law.
