Support The Snack Program: If you have the ability, please consider supporting our snack program by donating snacks. Over the last year demand for snacks has increased significantly while donations have declined. You can purchase off the Amazon wish list by clicking the button below, or by donating snacks or money directly. Donations are welcome throughout the school year.
Dear Parents,
In the depths of winter as we begin to imagine spring is on the horizon we are preparing for next year. Attached is the enrollment form for Arlington After-School Program for the 2024-2025 school year.
The form should be returned to the school by Monday March 25th. Please return it either as a hard copy or as an attachment to a separate email to aasppeirce@arlington.k12.ma.us. Please do not respond to this email with your registration, as it's easy for it to get lost in the email thread.
We will process the forms as quickly as we can and will be getting back to everyone by April 1st to let you know your status.
We are including the enrollment policy. Please look it over. If you have any questions you can contact your site coordinator (aasppeirce@arlington.k12.ma.us) or Todd Morse (tmorse@arlington.k12.ma.us).
Please be sure to circle your school at the top right of the form.
We will be looking forward to new and returning families joining the program in the fall.
Thank you

Be SMART to End Gun Violence Presentation - Thursday, April 4, 7:00 - 8:00PM
Are you interested in taking action against gun violence? You can start by attending a presentation at Arlington Public Schools!
TOPIC: Being SMART Saves Lives
DATE: Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm
PRESENTER: Beth Saunders and Megan Dowd Murray
TARGET AUDIENCE: Be SMART is for parents and all adults who are
concerned about kids, guns, and safety.
What is Be SMART?
The Be SMART campaign was launched in 2015 to promote responsible gun ownership in order to reduce child gun deaths. Whether you’re a gun owner, or you know someone who owns a gun, there is a role for everyone in the conversation around secure gun storage. Be SMART is a framework that parents, caretakers, and community leaders can follow to help keep their communities safe. Ultimately, you can help prevent kids from accessing firearms by storing them securely, and encouraging others to do the same. Because children deserve to feel safe, no matter where they are.
