Library News
We had a great Book Fair Week last week! A huge thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped make the Book Fair possible. I also want to thank every student and family who came out to shop and support our library. Your excitement made the week so fun!
Our Reading Challenge Wheel is still spinning! So far, the wheel has been spun 452 times! I love seeing the excitement when students come to spin the wheel! After Fall Break, I will be adding new challenges to keep the momentum going!
Here are some reminders on how your student can complete a reading challenge!
Kindergarten: Read 5 books, write the titles down on the reading tracker, and come to the library on Thursday to spin the wheel.
1st and 2nd Grade: Read 10 books, write the titles down on the reading tracker, and come to the library on Friday to spin the wheel.
3rd–5th Grade:
Step 1: Pick a challenge.
Step 2: Read the right books to complete the challenge.
Step 3: Complete your tracking paper and the Google Form on the Library’s Canvas page.
Step 4: Come to the library on your grade level’s designated day to spin the wheel!
Wheel spin days for 3rd-5th - Monday = 5th grade, Tuesday = 4th grade, Wednesday = 3rd grade
There is no limit to the amount of challenges you can complete! Once you finish one, you can start again!
