AMS Weekly Update
February 28, 2025
The Musselwhite Memo
- Please make every effort to arrive on time so that we can begin testing as quickly as possible.
- Students must have their charged Aledo ISD device and charger. If your student does not have a district device, one will be issued the day of testing.
- When students complete their assessment, they must stay silent until all students have finished testing. Please be sure your student comes to school with a book to read - Mrs. Smith, our librarian, is also available to help find a great after-testing read! Please encourage your student to visit the library prior to testing day.
- No pillows or blankets will be allowed in the testing rooms.
- Students are permitted to have snacks and water bottles. Please remember that water bottles must have a lid. Please send “quiet” snacks - preferably in ziplock bags or other packaging that can be quietly opened.
- Lunch deliveries are strongly discouraged on testing days as our daily schedules are adjusted for testing and lunch times may change.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out. Remember to be the difference and have a great Bearcat Day!

Lunch Deliveries
In the event that you need to deliver lunch to your student, please follow the steps below:
- Please remember that you may only provide lunch for your student. No group lunches (pizzas, party packs, etc.) allowed!
- Please be sure that the lunch is clearly labeled with your student's first and last name.
- Upon entering AMS, please place your student's lunch in the bin assigned to your student's grade level lunch.
- The bins will be delivered at the start of each lunch period. Students will be responsible for getting their lunches from the bin.
Again, we request that you limit lunch deliveries when possible. Also, in order to limit distractions, we will not call students out of class to receive lunches.
Thank you for your help with this!
