Visitors for Lunch other than Parent/Guardian?
Do you have some special visitors who want to have lunch at PTE with a student and the parent/guardian won't be coming with them?
We can help you make that happen. You just need to fill out THIS FORM using an email that is listed for a parent/guardian of the student in Skyward. If you could fill out the form before 9:00 am the day they plan to come to lunch, we can make that happen.
The visitor will still need to bring their ID and check in through the office.
If the parent/guardian will be coming to lunch with the special visitors, there is no need to fill out the form. You being with them is sufficient.
Let us know if you have questions.
Thanks,
PTE Office Staff

The actual challenge starts on Tuesday, September 30th and ends on Monday, October 20th.
We want all of Prairie Trail to join us as we make the commitment to making healthy choices in our snacks for 21 days!! There is an online recipe book available when you sign up at kids-teaching-kids.com. We encourage you to allow your child to help prepare these healthy snacks.
Guidelines for a Healthy Snack
- 200 calories or less
- 7 grams of fat or less
- 2 grams of fiber or more
- 15 grams of sugar or less
- Must contain a minimum of Β½ cup of a fruit or vegetable per serving
The follow up survey is required in order for your child to be counted as a participant. The survey will be sent to the parentβs email address, that was used at registration, 2 weeks after we complete the challenge. Each child registered will need to complete a separate survey to be counted.
Please contact Ms. Massa with any questions at massav@lisd.net.
Thanks and happy snacking!
π Itβs time for our annual Stuff the Pantry drive! π
From Monday, Sept. 29 β Friday, Oct. 3, Prairie Trail families will join together to collect food donations to benefit Christian Community Action (CCA).
Students can bring donations straight to schoolβlook for the big collection box in the hallway! Every item helps us earn points in the district-wide competition, where schools compete to see who can make the biggest impact. π Not only does our campus have the chance to be honored by CCA, but the Prairie Trail classroom with the most points will also win the PTA Stuff the Pantry trophy! π
π‘ How points work:
β 1 point for most items
β 2 points for Cereal & Peanut Butter
π Most Needed Items:
β Canned Fruit and Yams
β Cereal (2 pts.)
β Condiments (ketchup, mustard, etc.)
β Evaporated Milk
β Instant Potatoes
β Peanut Butter (2 pts.)
β Pie Filling
β οΈ Please avoid glass items and flour/sugar sacks as they can break easily.
Letβs show our Texan spirit and stuff that pantry full for families in need! β€οΈ

π Bus Rider Information - IMPORTANT! π
Lewisville ISD will take over transportation operations for the district for the 2025-26 school year. Check out the video below for details on what to expect from LISD's transportation services this school year.
Visit LISD.net/transportation for details, including the Here Comes the Bus app and bus locator.
If you have any question or issues regarding buses, please remember to call 469-713-5983. If you have a child that rides the bus, I highly recommend that you put this number in your contacts.
There is also a video on the above website with more important information.
If students ride the bus home and are undeliverable due to not having an updated address in Skyward, the driver will return the student to the elementary campus as to not delay their high school routes. If you have not already updated your information in Skyward, please do so ASAP! Check that you address is updated in Skyward so that your children can be assigned to the correct bus. π
