βπ» We're Beaming! Ceremony Honors New Michael Ball Intermediate!
Argyle ISD celebrated an exciting milestone in the construction of Michael Ball Intermediate School on Wednesday, Oct. 28, as students, staff, community members, retired educators and former colleagues gathered for a special beam signing ceremony.

Elementary students from across the district joined community members in signing the structural beam, leaving their mark on a building that will soon become an important part of the Argyle ISD story. The ceremony offered an opportunity for the community to come together, celebrate the progress of the new campus and share in the excitement of what lies ahead.
The school is named in honor of Michael Ball, who served Argyle ISD for 31 years as a beloved elementary school counselor. His lasting impact on students, families and colleagues reflects the strong relationships and commitment to students that continue to define the Argyle ISD community.
As construction moves forward, the signed beam will become part of the building itself β a lasting reminder of the people, memories and community spirit that helped shape this new school from the very beginning.
Michael Ball Intermediate School is scheduled to open in August 2027 and will serve fifth- and sixth-grade students in Argyle ISDβs West Zone.

π Debate Student's "Bee Bill" Reaches Regional Competition
Argyle ISD is proud to celebrate the hard work and achievement of Argyle High School senior Hadley Harris, whose original bill, βThe Bee Bill,β was selected as one of just 12 bills from across ESC Region 11 to advance to the UIL Congressional Debate Regional Competition.
Hadleyβs bill would encourage farmers to plant pollinator-friendly seeds to help protect bees and other pollinators while giving farmers more choices in the seed marketplace. His selection recognizes his creativity, critical thinking and dedication to debate. As a member of Argyleβs seven-student Congressional Debate team, Hadley may even have the opportunity to debate his own bill at regionals. Congratulations, Hadley!

Halloween should be spooky β getting hurt shouldn't be!
Before Argyle ISD students head out for Halloween fun, families can review a few simple safety rules. For younger students: use sidewalks, cross at intersections, carry a flashlight or glow stick, make sure costumes don't block vision or cause tripping, and stay with an adult.
For older students and teens: travel with friends, establish a check-in and transportation plan before leaving, and make sure your teen knows they can call you for a safe ride home if plans change or they ever feel uncomfortable.
And drivers: slow down and stay especially alert for children and teens walking after dark.
Have a happy and safe Halloween, Eagles and RedHawks!
