Tynes Weekly Updates
May 1, 2026
Greetings from Dr. Borgese
๐ Leveling Up Together: A Big Week Ahead! ๐
Tiger Families,
As we head into next week, we have two important moments to celebrate and support as a school community.
First, itโs Staff Appreciation Week, a time to recognize the incredible dedication, care, and heart our teachers and staff bring to Tynes every single day. They go above and beyond to support our students academically and emotionally, and we are grateful for the positive impact they make on our Tiger community. See below for more information on how you can show your appreciation!.
At the same time, our 3rdโ6th grade students will begin state testing. Our Tigers have been working hard all year, and this is their opportunity to show what theyโve learned. You can support your child by helping them get a good nightโs sleep, arrive to school on time, and start the day with a healthy breakfast. Most importantly, encourage them to do their best and stay confident.
Itโs a week where we truly see our community in actionโlifting up our staff while cheering on our students. Letโs continue to level up togetherโฆ Every Student, Every Day! ๐ฏ
Warmly,
Dr. Borgese
