Hello and Happy Spring!

We have been really enjoying the music of our newest Musician of the Month, Pamyua, an Inuit Soul group from Alaska. Phillip and Stephen Blanchett started the group, and Ossie Kairaiuak and Karina Moeller joined later. Their name is the Yup'ik word for Encore or Do it again. Pamyua is well-known for harmonizing and re-arranging traditional Inuit stories and melodies. They can be heard in the theme song for Molly of Denali and also on the show Flying Wild Alaska. Below, you'll find a video about the band as well as several of their songs. Enjoy!
