Back To School Newsletter
2023-2024
Welcome Message
Each week, parents and the community can expect a newsletter that includes any important information of things to come. Be sure to update all Powerschool information, so we can be sure we are communicating with EVERYONE! Links to the newsletter will also be shared on social media, as well.
Please read the information below. It includes information about Blue-Devil Kick-off, Meet the Teacher Night, our first-ever Blue Devil Bash, and other information. All of these events are designed to make the start of school better for our students. These are also great opportunities for students, parents, and school staff to build relationships and strengthen out school/community partnership.
High School is one of those experiences where you get out of it what you put in. I firmly believe our students can maximize their high school experience if they get involved early and often, and if families are partners in the process!
Here is a few helpful links if you need them: Supply Lists, Athletic Paperwork, Powerschool Login
I look forward to getting the 23'-24' school year started! It is a great time to be a Blue Devil!

As you do your back-to-school shopping, it is important to note what is appropriate dress for students during school hours. Please review the "Dress and Appearance" policy (below) that was board-approved on July 17th.
The policy was changed from last year to create more consistent policies between the secondary buildings at Tipton Community School Corporation.
You can find the entire student handbook here.
Attention Student Drivers!
Parking Tags/Parent Consent Forms
All students must submit a parent consent form turned in to the front office, and purchase a parking tag ($4) by August 25th.
Students that do not have a parking pass may lose driving privileges.
Lunch Money Account/Book Fees
Following legislation, schools are no longer assessing books fees. Any fees prior to the 2022-2023 school year will remain on students' account and should be paid. If you are unsure about your fees, please call Mrs. Warner-THS treasurer @ (765) 675-7431 ext. 1108.
School lunch will cost $3.20 for the 2023-2024 school year. Students may bring cash/check to the register to be added to their account, or parents can put money into their account using Efunds (Click Here). Students will not receive change from cash given at the register. (For example, if a student brings a twenty dollar bill to the register, the entire amount will be added to their account)
If you feel you qualify for the Free/Reduced program, you MUST complete the form on Powerschool! It can be found in the 'Forms section" on your Powerschool account. This program helps with lunch costs and textbook rental fees.
