Community Service Opportunities!
Amherst Town Library
Souhegan High School students can become “Big Buddies” in the Book Buddies Literacy Program, mentoring children entering grades 1–4 through fun and supportive read-aloud sessions. Each month, high schoolers and their “Little Buddies” meet one-on-one for 30 minutes to build literacy skills, confidence, and meaningful connections. Sessions are offered each month at varying times. High School students are encouraged to participate in this program on a monthly basis. Help inspire a love of reading while making a difference in a young student’s life! A great way to engage in your community.
