SGB Theater 2026
Program Value and Flexible Payment Options
Keeping you in the loop!
Dear SGB Families,
SGB Theater has given so many of our students a place to discover their talents, build friendships, and experience the excitement of bringing a musical to life. As families consider registering this year, I want to explain what the fee includes, the reason for the increase, and the payment options available.
Last year, registration was $200 early and $250 afterward.
This year’s fees are $275 for early registration, $300 for regular registration, and $350 for late registration (which begins November 1). SGB's "Grow Stronger Together Grant" in coordination with the North Rockland School District which previously helped subsidize the program ended last year. Together with rising program expenses, the loss of that support means registration must now cover more of the cost.
We understand that every family has different priorities, schedules, and financial commitments, and we respect those decisions. If the fee or any aspect of the program raises a concern, please reach out to me directly so we can discuss it with the full information in hand. Seeking clarification before sharing concerns more broadly helps keep conversations accurate and constructive and allows students to consider participation with an informed, positive perspective.
Our goal is to keep this meaningful experience accessible while supporting the time and resources needed to make it successful. If you are interested in a payment plan, please let me know. Thank you for supporting the creativity, dedication, and joy our students bring to SGB Theater.
We look forward to another wonderful season together!
God bless,
Ms. Clarke
Principal
Comparable Program Costs
SGB Theater continues to offer savings
SGB’s early registration fee is $445–$675 LESS THAN these production options, while providing a season that extends from November through April.
We are PROUD TO OFFER THIS OPPORTUNITY at our school at a cost that remains significantly below these alternatives.
Registration includes weekly Monday rehearsals when school is open, from 2:45 p.m. until either 4:00 or 5:30 p.m., depending on the student’s role.
Dress rehearsals and performance weekend add approximately 15 hours. Throughout the season, students work with staff on singing, dancing, acting, and preparing for their performances with a full mainstage production.
Using an estimated 20 Monday rehearsals, this represents approximately 40–70 hours of participation:
