Campus Safety and Security

Three parking gates have been installed to direct traffic and provide additional safety before, during, and after school.

Parking Gate A: Closed 8 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. on school days

Parking Gate B: Closed 8 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. on school days (Gate will be open for students who leave and return to campus throughout the school day. Including, but not limited, to dual credit students, work program students, students leaving for appointments, etc.)

Parking Gate C: Limited access during school days

There is also a new crosswalk across Fremont Street in front of Galesburg Junior Senior High School for pedestrian use. Please speak to your student(s) about the importance of being alert and scanning both ways before crossing the street. While vehicles are required to stop when a student is crossing, for safety considerations our students and staff should look to ensure that vehicles are stopping before entering the crosswalk area.
