Hi Caverly Families!
It has been such a pleasure spending time with your precious preschoolers. Our outdoor arrival has been a fabulous way to begin our day together! Thank you for dressing your child in layers - this time of year can be tricky weather wise! Students have done a great job in getting to know our classroom routine and in getting to know each other. We have also been learning about each other's families. This has been a great way to connect with each other and supports our goal of having an exclusive, kind, and welcoming environment for all of our students and families!
Our focus will shift to all things apples the next few weeks and our dramatic play space will transform from the Caverly Camp Site to the Caverly Apple Orchard. We will continue to learn more about each other and our families, but we will also be learning about the life cycle of an apple, physical characteristics of living things, and learn that living things have basic needs and what those are. While playing in the Apple Orchard students will be building their math, literacy, science, and social skills.
