Madison High School Updates

This week marks the final week of school for the Class of 2026! We are looking forward to a fun week of activities and events to celebrate our graduates!

Congratulations to our MHS students who competed this past Friday at Special Olympics. The games took place at Siena Heights Fieldhouse and our students represented Madison High School very well! Congratulations, athletes - We are proud of you 💜💛!!!

Dr. Cichy's AP Biology students spent the day at Hidden Lake Gardens exploring different ecosystems and crossing the SkyWalk canopy bridge.

The Counseling Office is working on a display to recognize and celebrate each senior's future plans. All seniors were sent a survey to complete that will ensure everyone can be included. If your senior has not yet made a decision on their future plans, please encourage them to communicate to the Counseling Office once a decision is made!

I have had the opportunity to meet with all of the freshmen, sophomores and juniors to discuss their schedules for the upcoming year, including courses at Madison, the Tech Center, and dual-enrollment options. May 18th - May 22nd - Senior Send-Off Week

May 20th - 2nd Trimester Merit Activity (10:45am - 12:40pm)

May 20th - Senior Night @ 6:30pm in the Performing Arts Center

May 21st - Decision Day event/Last Recess for seniors 7:50am - 9:15am

May 22nd - Senior Exams

May 28th - HS Academic Awards Assembly @ 1:30pm, Spring Athletic Awards Ceremony

May 29th - Senior Breakfast, Grad Walk, Graduation Rehearsal (7:50am - 11:00am) School-Wide Celebration (9:30am - 11:15am)

May 31st - Commencement, MHS Activities Center @ 1:00pm

June 2nd - June 4th - Trimester Final exams, students dismissed at 11am

June 4th - Last Day of School

June 5th - Cedar Point Merit Trip

Students who qualified for the 2nd Trimester Merit Activity will be dismissed from classes on Wednesday, May 20th at 10:48am to enjoy lunch and lawn games outside. Students can bring their own picnic lunch, grab a lunch from the cafeteria or purchase items from three different food trucks.
