Congratulations to the Lady Jackets for winning the Silver Bracket Consolation Championship this weekend! Dyna Potter was selected as an alternate for the All Tournament Team! Every day is a great day to be a Jacket!

The Class of 2028 will begin selling Homecoming T-shirts on Tuesday, September 2. Orders will be accepted until September 22. Shirts will be white, short-sleeve, and available in either soft cotton or Dri-Fit. The names of all football, band, cheer, cross country, and volleyball members, as well as FFA officers, will be printed on the back. Attached is the order form. Orders and payments may be turned in to Coach L. Schur or to the High School or Elementary offices.

Pink Out shirts will go on sale September 3 - 15. Order forms will be sent out to students. Stay tuned for more information!

Join us in cheering on our Yellow Jacket football boys before each away game! The team will make their way through campus, and we’d love for the entire community to line the route, wave posters, and show off your spirit.

Bring your posters, cowbells, and Yellow Jacket pride—let’s send our team off with the energy and support they deserve before their big games!

Estafana Whitmer

Ms. Whitmer was nominated by Mrs. Spivey.

Ms. Whitmer has come into the new position of Academic Advisor and has been working so hard for our staff and students. She has figured out all the ends and outs of schedules and dual credit. It has been a huge challenge but she has stepped up to the plate every day to tackle whatever comes her way. She is going to do so many amazing things in this new role and MHS is so extremely lucky to have her. Way to go Ms. Whitmer. I know your littles miss you at MES but your big kiddos have welcomed you with open arms, they are usually coming for a snack but their arms are open. Haha. But seriously you have already built some amazing relationships with the students at MHS and it’s going to be a great year for them because of it.

Andrea Dunn

Andrea Dunn was nominated by Christen Kerbow. Mrs. Kerbow stated, "Ms. Dunn is always supportive of our students in their extracurricular activities. When looking into the crowd, you'll typically see her cheering them on and always telling kids how proud she is of them!" Way to be a kindness champion, Mrs. Dunn!

Leigh Bailey

Coach Bailey was nominated anonymously. They stated, " Coach has turned up every day dressed for the occasion and has gone the extra mile to meet students where they are struggling. He has approached this year with renewed vigor and inspiring students to be greater than themselves.

Way to show Growth & Grit Coach Bailey!

Jasmin Brown was nominated anonymously for being a kindness champion. They said, "She’s always so kind to everyone and makes everyone feel so welcome!!"
