Hello Preschool Families,

This week, we had a wonderful time here at Pittaway! Students and staff enjoyed wrapping up our β€œIn the City, In the Country” unit with a special dress-up day on Thursday. It was so much fun seeing everyone participate by dressing in their fancy city clothes or their favorite farm and country attire. The children loved celebrating all that we learned throughout the unit, and it was a great way to end our theme together.

As we look ahead, we are excited to begin our new theme: Growing and Changing! Over the next few weeks, students will explore all the amazing changes that happen during the spring season. Some classes will talk about how flowers grow, bloom, and change over time, and may even plant and observe some flowers of their own. Other classes are learning about the life cycle of a butterfly and are watching how a caterpillar goes through metamorphosis to transform into a butterfly. Everyone here at Pittaway is looking forward to all the hands-on learning, observations, and discoveries that come with this exciting spring theme!

As a reminder, we kindly ask everyone to please drive safely and remember to not double park when doing afternoon pick-up. This results in blocking the road for those leaving the pick-up line, as well as cars that are trying to drive down central street.

We are looking forward to another exciting week of learning, growing, and exploring together here at Pittaway! Have a wonderful weekend!

-Amanda
