Congratulations, Mrs. Griffith!
Congratulations to Carolee Griffith, AMS sixth grade social studies teacher, who was this year's Aledo ISD winner for the Jack Harvey Academy of Exemplary Teachers Award presented each year by the Education Department at Weatherford College!
We are grateful to WC for honoring extraordinary teachers in this way each year, and we know that Ms. Griffith is the best of the BEST!
"Carolee Griffith is an exceptional educator who has a remarkable ability to connect with her students, creating an inclusive environment where every child feels confident and valued," AMS Principal Dr. Mandy Musselwhite said. "Carolee goes above and beyond in fostering strong relationships with parents, maintaining proactive communication while offering positive feedback and encouragement to support students through challenges. Beyond her work in the classroom, she is a dedicated mentor to new staff, sharing her expertise and enthusiasm to uplift those around her. Her unwavering positivity and commitment to excellence make her an

Lunch Deliveries
In the event that you need to deliver lunch to your student, please follow the steps below:
- Please remember that you may only provide lunch for your student. No group lunches (pizzas, party packs, etc.) allowed!
- Please be sure that the lunch is clearly labeled with your student's first and last name.
- Upon entering AMS, please place your student's lunch in the bin assigned to your student's grade level lunch.
- The bins will be delivered at the start of each lunch period. Students will be responsible for getting their lunches from the bin.
Again, we request that you limit lunch deliveries when possible. Also, in order to limit distractions, we will not call students out of class to receive lunches.
Thank you for your help with this!
