Rounding out our Supply and Demand Unit!
1st and 2nd grade have been working hard learning all about Supply and Demand. This week, they extended their learning into LMR and connected it to their special Gingerbread Day. Throughout the week, students read stories about gingerbread, created shopping lists of supplies they would need, compared and contrasted their lists, and discussed if the supply and demand would be high or low. To end their week, they got to buy their supplies and decorate their own gingerbread man!
This Just In from Ms. Parisi
Division and Creation!
Ms.Parisi’s class had fun this week learning different division strategies, how to elaborate, and how to edit power point presentations. We had a fun transition from playing soccer to building snowmen in the field.
A Word From Mr. LeGraw
This week in PE class, students worked improving their soccer skills, including dribbling, passing, and shooting. They also focused on improving their agility through fun games that will help get them moving quickly and efficiently on the field. Great job to all the students for their hard work and teamwork!
