Summer School Program Attendance Criteria for Field Trip Eligibility
By completing this form, you are giving your child permission to attend the 2026 Summer School. You have to read and agree to our attendance policy of a maximum of one absence. This will be used for our incentive for our summer school field trip.
Expectation of Perfect Attendance: Students are expected to maintain perfect attendance throughout the entire 16-day summer school session.
Absolute Absence Cap: To protect instructional time, a student may miss a maximum of only one (1) day due to an unavoidable, officially verified excused absence.
Immediate Disqualification: Exceeding the single excused day or incurring even one unexcused absence results in immediate, automatic forfeiture of field trip privileges.
Mandatory Days: Students must be present on all designated review and preparation days leading up to the field trip.
How Attendance Will Be Measured:
Attendance will be recorded daily using the official summer school attendance system.
Attendance data will be audited weekly by summer school staff to flag any students who use their single allowed absence.
Final eligibility for the field trip will be locked in using cumulative attendance data through the date of the trip.
