Electives

Information for 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Students

General Information

Students are given the opportunity to explor topics of interest in electives. These 8-10 week courses allow children time to try out different subjects, skills and activities. It is our hope that children will try out different things and possibly developnew interests.

6th Graders take 1 elective every quarter (a total of 4 electives over the course of the year).

7th and 8th Graders take 2 electives every quarter (a total of 8 electives over the course of the year).

Electives are from 10:45 - 11:25 a.m. on alternating days and run on an A/B schedule. 6th Graders will only have electives on A days.
