Happy October Wolman Elementary Families!

It is hard to believe we have already welcomed October and are quickly approaching the end of our first nine-week grading period! What a wonderful week of learning, fun, and celebration we have had together.

Our Book Fair has been a huge success, and there is still a little more time to stop by and find some great books! Be sure to check out the flyer below for additional information.

Our Game Night with Grands event on Monday was another wonderful success! It was heartwarming to see so many families and grandparents enjoying time together. Lots of fun was had by all who attended!

Today, we also celebrated our September North Star Winners! These individuals are people who go above and beyond in their roles as a student, staff member, or volunteer. They truly help make Wolman Elementary a wonderful place to learn, work, and grow. We are so proud of each of our North Star Winners! Please see their photo below and join us in celebrating their outstanding contributions to our school community.

We have many more exciting events and activities coming up! Please take some time to carefully review the sections below for important campus and district information, PTA news, and details about upcoming events.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support, partnership, and commitment to our students. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful school community!

Lunch is a fun, social time of day for our Explorers! Any parents who wish you attend lunch may use the link above to sign up. As a reminder only parents/guardians, non-school aged children and immediate family listed on the lunch visitor permission form are able to visit for lunch. Due to limited space, visitors are limited to 2 visitors per student (non school age children are counted as visitors). Each parent must sign up for their own seat and a separate seat for any non school age siblings.

Here are some reminders for when lunch visits begin...PLEASE REMEMBER when signing up to include your child's name and teacher in the comments. All visitors must show a physical, hard copy government issued ID (driver's license or passport) when you arrive for lunch. We ask that each student be limited to having a lunch visit one day per week to allow all Explorers the opportunity to have a lunch visit. If you are not able to come to lunch after you signed up, please remove your name from the list. Also, please be aware that a few minutes prior to your child's lunch time ending, the monitors will direct your child to join his/her class; this helps with making our cafeteria exit procedures run more smoothly. The following steps will guide you in signing up for lunch times to visit your child and with providing lunch visitor permission. Please call 281 234 1700 with any questions. Thank you!

Step 1:

Please sign up for date/time of lunch visit here: Link

If needed...

Step 2:

For immediate family visitors (limited to grandparents, non-school aged siblings, and stepparents) who are NOT the parents/guardians the online Lunch Visitor form must be filled out by the parent/guardian BEFORE the lunch visit. Link

School Store School Store

Wolman Explorers & Parents!

Our 1st School Store is coming up Tuesday, October 6, during your child’s recess time in the LGI! The School Store is more than just picking out something fun! Please send money in a Ziploc bag labeled with your child’s name and the amount enclosed. Money cannot be dropped off at the front office. Parents are welcome to coordinate with their child’s teacher to meet their child in the LGI or shop for them.
