Troy PBIS Troy PBIS

The Troy Intermediate PBIS Committee is excited to announce that they will be having an additional positive incentive program during the last three weeks of school leading up to summer break. During those last weeks of school Troy students will be given the opportunity to cash in their Shorebucks to win gift baskets! The committee will display five different gift baskets at the beginning of each week for students drop their Shorebucks in. New winners will be announced over the school announcements each week. This will be an awesome way to keep the students' spirits bright, focused and positive during such an exciting time of year!

Class Placement Class Placement

We want to take a moment to share information about our class placement process. Please know that much thought and consideration goes into making these decisions. Our goal is to ensure that placements are made based on each student's academic needs, available services, and overall classroom dynamics.

As part of this process, we do not accept specific teacher requests. We appreciate your understanding and trust in our approach to creating balanced and supportive learning environments for all students.

If you have any concerns regarding your child’s academic needs, please feel free to reach out. We appreciate your partnership in supporting student success.

Back to School Forms Back to School Forms

Over the summer months you will receive an email notifying you to complete your student's back-to-school forms via your PowerSchool Parent Account. All forms are to be completed prior to the first day of school. This is a one-stop shop for updating your child’s emergency and medical information as well as signing off on the annual permission forms for school district policies.

If you have more than one child in the school system, you only need one PowerSchool Parent Account. All of your children, regardless of building attendance, are to be added to your one account BEFORE you start completing the back-to-school forms.

If you have any questions about your PowerSchool Parent Account, please contact:

  • Maria Szarek - (440) 933-4829 or
  • Theresa Martin - (440) 933-0984

As part of our Music class curriculum, the 6th-graders will be preparing and presenting a musical performance in May. This is separate from the band, orchestra, and choir concerts. The "6th Grade Show" will be a collaboration of musical talents of our 6th-grade students. This is our only large project grade for Music class, so all students are expected to participate. If you have an unavoidable conflict with the performance date, or other questions/concerns, please contact Mrs. Brown at maria.brown@alcsoh.org
