Allstar Newsletter- Family
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the patience! I apologize that I wasn't able to get a newsletter out last week. We are back on track this week. I am so excited that we will be doing Frozen for our school play. We will be having a parent meeting this week, on Wednesday at 3:45 in the library.
As a reminder please do not stop in the carpool lane and let the students out, unless it is right in the front of the building. It slows the line and then the students run and we are trying to keep everyone safe. Please make sure that we are letting all students out by the front door if you are pulling into the main parking lot. You are welcome to park in a stall and walk them to their line.
Please remind your students to be nice to others. If you send your students to the school for breakfast, please know that the doors do not open until 8:20 and we do not have adult supervision outside so please do not send your students early. School doesn't start until 8:50 and we do not have adult supervision outside until 8:35. Thank you for your support with this, and it is also getting colder outside, if it needs to be an indoor morning we will let the students in at 8:35. As we have snow please remind your students to keep the snow on the ground and not throw it.
Next week when we have Open Doors they will be coming earlier, it will be at 1:45 on Thursday December 18. Please remember to bring your own bags or something to carry the food back with you.
I love being the principal at Antelope. We had the kindergarteners performed at the bank singing Christmas songs and third grade had their concert. They both did amazing and it was a joy to listen to them sing their songs. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do. Thanks for being the BEST school community. Thanks for your support and appreciation.
Thanks,
Mrs. Pool
GOAT staff this week!
Mr. LaFleur: Our wonderful custodian! He does a great job making sure that building is clean and looks great for the staff, students and community. He is really funny and doesn't complain. He always smiles no matter what mess he needs to clean up.
Mrs. Golightly: Antelope's fabulous PE teacher! She celebrates her birthday in July in the warmth. She loves cinnamon bears but trail mix for a salty treat. She loves the color black and to drink water.
Mrs. Moore: One of a kind Preschool teacher! She celebrates in August at the very end of summer. She loves cookies, brownies and Carmello's for sweet treats and when she needs a salty snack its salt and vinegar chips. Her favorite drink is Coke Zero or a lime Rickey. She loves red. If she could have any superpower she would choose universal healing.
Mrs. Cox: Loving Speech Language Pathologist! She just celebrated her birthday in November, loved Brownies and Twix when she needs a sweet treat, but Chex mix when she needs a salty snack. Her favorite colors are teal and burgundy. If she could have any superpower, it would be the ability to teleport, then she could travel anywhere for free and get there super-fast.
