Letter from Our Principal

Dear LPS Families,

We have had an amazing first full week of school! It has been wonderful to see our students beginning to settle into their routines, get into the groove of the school year, and truly dive into their learning.

Our classrooms are filled with students engaging, asking questions, building relationships, and embracing new challenges. We are so proud of the energy and enthusiasm our scholars have brought to campus, and we are excited to see the growth that will come as the year progresses.

We are also continuing to work through some technology needs across campus. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we refine our processes and work with Technology Lab to provide the support our students and staff need.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We are looking forward to another great week at LPS!

With Lion Heart and Strength of Mind,

Wendy Craft

Please join us for the Grade Level Curriculum Night

Curriculum Night is an important opportunity for parents and guardians to partner with teachers in supporting their student’s academic success. During the event, families will learn about class expectations, assignments, grading practices, and important routines for the school year. Teachers will also explain how parents can check student grades, monitor academic progress, and stay informed about missing assignments. In addition, families will receive information about helpful resources, support programs, and strategies they can use at home. Your attendance helps build a strong connection between home and school and ensures that your student has the guidance, encouragement, and resources needed to succeed.
