Please see below for important information regarding testing. The buses run at the typical AM and PM times before and after school on April 15th, 16th, 21st, and 23rd. Students can ride the bus on testing days and wait in the cafeteria until their classes start, or they may show up when their classes begin.
Please note the End of Course Exam schedule as shown above for students. Please also notice that not every mod will take place each day. The mods do not run in consecutive order so as to accommodate the Polaris students' schedule. Please be aware Tuesday, April 28th, unless your student is taking the Biology exam, NO other students should be in the building.
ONLY STUDENTS TESTING SHOULD BE IN THE BUILDING DURING SCHEDULED TESTING TIMES on the 28th. Please look at the exam testing chart above for further clarification. Reminder: Polaris Students, on the days of End of Course Exams, buses for Polaris will run as normally scheduled.
If a student does not have an EOC test, they do not need to be at BMHS during testing. However, if they are taking their normal bus for transportation purposes, students should report to the 1A Cafeteria and remain there. Students are not permitted to walk through the building while tests are being administered.
Student Spotlights: Check out some of our Titans and their accomplishments!
Sharing the Tea with Phenomenal Women, hosted by our LEAD executives, is a powerful annual tradition for our senior female Titans. A room filled with honest advice, real stories, and meaningful reflection from an incredible panel, including Mrs. Susan Malone, Mrs. Terri Martin, Ms. Katie Porter, Ms. Myranda Rowland, Dr. Dawn Ruebensaal, Ms. Lexi Schuller, and Ms. Madison Woods.
Students heard the importance of making yourself a priority and taking care of your mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. They were reminded to pay attention to their inner voice and speak to themselves with the same kindness they offer others. There was a strong push to stop focusing only on outcomes and instead stay grounded in your purpose, your why, and your how.
The panel challenged students to step outside their comfort zones, emphasizing that growth does not happen when things feel easy or familiar. They encouraged them to go after opportunities even when they feel unprepared, to stop shrinking themselves, and to recognize that they are just as capable as the opportunities in front of them.
There was also an honest reminder to let go of mistakes, to stop replaying them, and to give yourself grace. Not every moment will go as planned, and that is part of the process. What matters is how you move forward.
Students were encouraged to chase their goals, put in the work, and become the person they have always envisioned. And when challenges arise, to see them not as roadblocks, but as opportunities to grow, adapt, and keep going.
The message was clear. Take care of yourself. Be kind to yourself. Take risks. Get uncomfortable. And keep moving forward.

Right before break, the Junior Executive Board at BMHS completed two service projects we have been working on this year.
First, they delivered 7 baskets, including toys, books, blankets, and crafts for kids in Akron Children's Hospital.
Then, they delivered coffee and donuts to the emergency room nurses at Southwest General Hospital.
What an AWESOME day at Berea-Midpark High School! Our Broadcasting & Video Production and Digital Marketing students hosted a powerful Safe Driving Fair - bringing energy, creativity, and an important message to life. From interactive displays to impactful storytelling, these students were ALL IN on promoting safe teen driving.
A huge THANK YOU to our law enforcement partners for supporting this meaningful event and helping make a difference in our community. Stay tuned…more student-led content is coming this week! #SafeDriving #StaySafe #DriveSmart #StudentVoicesMatter #CommunityStrong #PolarisProud
Berea-Midpark High School recently celebrated outstanding students and staff at our recent Be a Titan recognition.
The district recognized Emma Rivera, Elias Koenig, and Samuel Hvizdos for their leadership, innovation, and commitment to excellence. From elevating student voice through media coverage to solving real-world problems and leading professional learning, each has made a meaningful impact within the school community.
Their contributions reflect the dedication, creativity, and leadership that define BMHS.
In Honors Chemistry, students recently stepped into the role of real-world problem solvers.
Acting as chemists, they analyzed a “contaminated” sports drink, identified unknown substances, and used evidence to determine who may be responsible. The investigation didn’t stop in the lab. Students had to connect their findings to suspect descriptions and build a case that could lead to criminal charges.
Students demonstrated critical thinking by analyzing data and drawing evidence-based conclusions. They showed strong communication skills as they explained and defended their reasoning. They remained adaptable as new clues emerged and their thinking evolved.
Learning in action, with purpose behind every step.
