Dear Winchester Avenue Families,

As we move through the school year, our focus remains on helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. In classrooms, teachers emphasize strong learning habits such as trying their best, showing perseverance when work is challenging, and taking responsibility for their learning.

Students are encouraged to:

  • Come to school ready to learn

  • Listen and follow directions

  • Show kindness and respect to others

  • Participate in learning and classroom activities

  • Take care of materials and routines

Academic expectations increase as the year progresses, and teachers closely monitor growth in reading, math, and other core subjects. Progress looks different for every child, and effort and consistency play an important role in long-term success.

Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting your child’s learning and growth at school.

Warmly,

Principal Ballard

WALKERS WALKERS

We understand that older siblings may need to walk our kiddos home. Please be sure your child's teacher is aware of this arrangement. We have a new form to be completed by parents/guardians of students that are walked home by siblings that are under 18 years of age. Once the teacher is made aware, we will send home the form.
