A Message from Mr. Demers A Message from Mr. Demers

Dear Families,

It is hard to believe that we have arrived at the final week of the 2025-2026 school year here on 2700 Regional Road. As another successful year comes to a close, our students and staff are focused on finishing strong. With final exams beginning next week, we encourage all students to spend time reviewing their materials, getting plenty of rest, and coming to school prepared to demonstrate all they have learned throughout the year. Here are a few reminders and highlights as we head into the final stretch:

  • Today, we were thrilled to celebrate the graduation of the Little Falcons from our Early Childhood Education CTE Program. It was wonderful to see the excitement on the faces of our youngest learners and their families as they marked this special milestone. A tremendous thank you goes to our Early Childhood Education students and staff for the care, creativity, and dedication they provide throughout the year. We cannot wait to welcome these Little Falcons back to DRRHS as full-grown Falcons in the years ahead!
  • As we move into final exams, we ask families to please pay close attention to the exam schedule included below. Monday through Thursday will be half days for students, while Friday will be a full day of school. Students should arrive each day prepared for their scheduled exams, take advantage of the weekend to study and prepare, and finish the school year with the same effort they have shown all year long.
  • All students need to bring in their school issued chromebooks and charging cords for finals. Please be sure that the chromebooks are fully charged for the day.

Though the end of the school year is in sight, there is still much to accomplish and celebrate over the coming days. We are looking forward to ending the year in a positive and productive manner and want to thank our students, families, faculty, and staff for making the 2025-2026 school year such a memorable one. Have a wonderful long weekend, Happy Father's Day to all of the dads and father figures in our DRRHS community, and good luck to all of our students as they prepare for their final exams!

With Falcon Pride,

Dustin Demers - Principal DRRHS

Join the Conversation: District Wide Branding Town Hall Join the Conversation: District Wide Branding Town Hall

The Dighton-Rehoboth Regional School District invites families, students, staff, alumni, and community members to attend our Districtwide Branding Town Hall Virtual Meeting on June 22, 2026, at 7:00 PM.

Building on the successful rebranding of Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School, we are exploring the possibility of creating a unified district identity that would connect our students from their earliest school experiences through graduation. Imagine being a Falcon from PreK through Grade 12—a shared identity that celebrates our traditions, strengthens school pride, and unites our community.

This Town Hall is an opportunity to learn more about the initiative, ask questions, share your thoughts, and help shape the future of our district. Whether you are excited about the idea, have questions, or simply want to learn more, we encourage you to join us and make your voice heard.

Together, we can help define what it means to be part of the Dighton-Rehoboth community.

Final Exams Final Exams

Please see the final exam schedule below. Families should reach out to their child's assistant principal should they need to request the possibility of taking the exam during the make up week due to a conflict. All requests must be vetted by the administration. The exam make up days will be held on the last period of the June 25th exam day, June 26th during the school day, and June 29th, June 30th, and July 1st from 8am-12pm each day. If a student does not have permission from administration to take a make up exam they will receive a zero for the exam should they miss it.

Please note that the district wide cell phone/electronic device policy will be strictly enforced this year. Please review the policy:

District Electronic Device Policy

The term “electronic devices,” includes but is not limited to cell phones, iPads/tablets, laptops/computers (other than those issued by the District), electronic/smart devices, and headphones/airpods. The expectation is that these personal devices remain off and away during the school day. Staff may require students to store phones in a centralized location. The only exception is at the high school, where students are permitted to use their phones during transition time in the hallway between classes and during lunch. High school students are not allowed to use their phones during class time, or when out of the classroom during class time (i.e., bathroom breaks). Students remain solely responsible for any loss or damage to any electronic devices used or brought onto school property. Use of electronic devices at school are subject to the District’s Acceptable Use Policy and any applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to M.G.L. c. 272, sec. 99, which is sometimes known as the Massachusetts Wiretapping Law.

Attendance Attendance

A reminder that a student will be assigned Saturday School if they accrue 5 attendance points in a quarter.

  • An unexcused absence (one not accompanied by a valid medical note) equals one attendance point.
  • An unexcused tardy/dismissal equals an attendance half point.

A student's exemplary academic standing or disciplinary record have no bearing on the assignment of a Saturday School in the case of five or more attendance points being accrued over the course of one quarter of the school year.

First period begins at 7:17AM. Any student not in their classroom at 7:17 or later will be considered tardy for that day.

Chromebooks Chromebooks

All Chromebooks should be charged and ready for each school day. Outside devices are not permitted, only school issued Chromebooks can be used at DRRHS during the school day.

The school has a limited number of loaner chromebooks and priority is to those students whose chromebooks are being fixed. Please remember that students should be bringing in fully charged chromebooks to school every day with charging cords.

Student Parking Student Parking

If a Senior or Junior is planning on parking at school, they can purchase a sticker in the office. The cost to park at school is $60 for the year. At the start of Semester 2, parking will be $30 for the balance of the year. Parking forms are available in the office. Please be aware that students will not be able to go out to their cars during the school day. They must remember to have everything with them when they enter the building in the morning.

Faculty Parking Lot Faculty Parking Lot

Please make sure you do not cut through the Faculty Parking Lot before or after school. The Faculty Parking Lot should not be used as a shortcut for safety reasons. Thank you!
