The Rowers Report

Dear RFMS Families,

What an amazing first full week of school! We are beginning to settle into routines, and it has been inspiring to see the strong relationships forming between our students and teachers. We truly believe that when students feel connected and supported, they are more willing to engage, grow, and succeed.

This year, our goal is to create a learning experience that students are excited to show up for each and every day. We know this journey is most successful when we partner with you, our parents and families. Thank you for the encouragement and support you give your children—it makes all the difference.

We also have some important dates coming up in a few weeks:

• Monday, September 1 – Student Holiday

• Tuesday, September 2 – RLA MAP Testing

• Thursday, September 4 – Math MAP Testing

• Friday, September 5 – Picture Day

MAP testing will provide us with a strong baseline to understand where our students are academically so we can better support them on their learning journey.

We are excited for all that lies ahead this year and grateful to be on this voyage together. Thank you for partnering with us to make RFMS a place where every student can unite, learn, and lead!

Car Rider Safety Reminder

For the safety of all students, we ask that all car riders be dropped off and picked up in our back car rider lane. We do not have staff stationed near JJ’s for supervision, but we do have staff in the back to ensure a safe and efficient process.

Please remember:

• Our school day ends at 4:15 PM.

• The car rider gate opens at 3:55 PM.

• Most students are picked up and on their way by 4:25 PM.

This process is quick, efficient, and—most importantly—safe. Thank you for partnering with us to make sure every student gets home safely.
