Fall Dance/Haunted House Information

Greetings LMS Families,

Fall Dance and Haunted House Dance Tickets go on sale Thursday, October 20th during all lunch periods. The cost is $10 (cash only). They are limited tickets that will be sold. Once it sells out - no additional tickets will be sold. Students will receive a receipt for purchasing their ticket.

On the day of the dance, students will be issued their dance wristband during the school day on Friday, October 28, 2022. Students must produce their wristband or receipt to enter. A list will be available to verify ticket purchases as well. Any student with a major campus disruption, excessive tardies/absences will not be able to attend the dance and will not be able to purchase a ticket. Additionally, will we NOT issue any refund to any student who violates campus/district code of conduct after they purchase their ticket. Students are reminded that this is an extra curricular event and they must be on good behavior to participate.

Costume and Dance Guidelines:

Dances are open to LMS 7th - 8th grade students only! No visitors/guests allowed.
Costumes must conform to all school dress codes:

NO revealing costumes, bare midriffs or miniskirts; NO costumes are allowed that would completely hide the identity of the student (IE: Gorilla Suit);
No costume masks or full face makeup, no carried props (such as weapons, knives, etc.) ** If you aren’t sure… don’t wear it!

All students MUST be picked up at 9PM. NO supervision will be provided after 9:15PM.

Concessions:

There will be concessions available for purchase at the dance. No outside food or drinks will be permitted.

Costumes

Student costumes are permitted. There will be a best costume prize awarded at the dance. Students will be able to dress up in a costume - that must be school appropriate. Students wearing costumes that are not school appropriate will NOT be permitted in and will be asked to return home to change.

Behavior Expectations

This is a school sponsored function, which means all campus rules are still applicable as well as any consequences should a student make the wrong choice of misbehaving.
