DMS Open House Information
We look forward to welcoming everyone to DMS Open House on Monday, October 7th from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. Each grade level will offer a one-hour program, 25 minutes with grade level teachers and 25 minutes with Unified Arts teachers. Please see below for the specific details of the night.
Also, please enter through the front doors of DMS. We look forward to seeing you all on Monday!
Grades 7 and 8 Families
6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
- 6:00- 6:25 p.m.- Grade 7 and 8 families will report to the gym by 5:55 p.m. At this time, both grade levels of parents will meet with the Unified Arts teachers in the gym.
- 6:30- 6:55 p.m.- Grade 8 parents/guardians will move to the cafeteria to attend the grade 8 teacher presentation. Grade 7 parents/guardians will remain in the gym for the grade 7 teacher presentation.
- Following the Unified Arts and Grade Level Academic presentation, parents/guardians are welcome to have their student bring them throughout the building for a quick tour of their classroom if they choose. If your student is not with you, you can still participate in the classroom visit. This will finish at 7:30 p.m. at the latest.
Grade 5 and 6 Families
7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
- 7:00- 7:25 p.m.- Grade 6 parents/guardians will report to the cafeteria by 6:55 to attend the grade 6 teacher presentation. Grade 5 parents/guardians will report to the gym by 6:55 to attend the grade 5 teacher presentation.
- 7:30- 7:55 p.m.- Grade 6 parents/guardians will join Grade 5 in the gym. At this time, both grade levels of parents will meet with the Unified Arts teachers in the gym.
- Prior to the Unified Arts and Grade Level Academic presentation (6:30 p.m.), parents/guardians are welcome to have their student bring them throughout the building for a quick tour of their classrooms if they choose. If your student is not with you, you can still participate in the classroom visit.
