Washington Family Connection
June 2026
As we wrap up our school year, I want to share how proud we are of our students and all they have accomplished. This year, students showed excellent growth in both literacy and math, and we are so proud of their efforts and development. Seeing the growth of ALL students this year makes us even more excited about the possibilities and opportunities ahead for the 2026–27 school year!
If this is my final newsletter to your family and your child is heading off to Pence, thank you for allowing us to be part of your child’s first school experience. Sharing in their growth, learning, and everyday moments has been such a gift, and they will always hold a special place in our hearts.
For those returning next fall, we look forward to welcoming your child back through our doors! Until then, enjoy the extra time together, make wonderful memories, and have a joy filled summer!

Classrrom Assignments for 2026-2027 school year
When thinking about next fall, I wanted to share information regarding classroom teachers. We won't be able to honor individual teacher requests as our priority lies in maintaining balanced classes. We will dedicate considerable effort each spring to consider the unique needs and learning styles of every student for the following year to help develop our classroom rosters. We can ensure that we will do our best to support each child's needs and confident they will be in really great hands. All classroom rosters will be finalized in mid August and will be done through Campus portal. Thank you for your understanding of this change.
