How exciting that spring is just around the corner. It's nice to see that the days are a little longer. Students are getting outside a bit more than they had but be sure your child dresses in layers as it can still be chilly when the sun is not out.

There was so much excitement in the building this week as classrooms prepared to catch the leprechaun through STEM activities. Some classrooms built traps or went on a search following the trails of green and gold glitter in the hallways and in the classroom!

Thank you to the many families that donated to our Friends of Foster Care Pajama Drive. Our Weymouth Foster Families will certainly appreciate your generosity.

Parent Teacher Conferences for JECC will be on Tuesday afternoon (virtual) April 25, and the evening of Wednesday, April 26 (in person). Conference registrations will be sent out the week of April 3rd. Teachers and related service providers will send home a letter via email to register for these meetings.

The Weymouth Child Family Community Center and it's affiliated programs are funded by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) grant from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and is administered by the Weymouth Public Schools.

The CFCE programs work to support all Weymouth families as their child's first teacher, develop community partnerships, and provide quality early educational experiences.

Looking for new members! Our current leadership team will be moving on to the primary schools this fall. We value and appreciate all that they have been able to do this school year for our students and staff. Please consider joining this amazing group of volunteers that provide support to our Johnson School community as we will be looking for future leaders for the 2023- 2024 school year.

Parent Council provides many opportunities for you to connect with other parents and become involved in the Johnson ECC school community. Parent Council supports our students and teachers with educational programs, supplies, and more. Parent involvement is the foundation for school success. Have a suggestion or a talent to share? We want to know!
