Bogota Middle School Update
January 17, 2025
Essentials
We hope you had a great week! This is an important reminder that school will be closed on Monday, January 20th, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We encourage you to take this time to rest and recharge during these chilly winter days. There’s a chance of snow this weekend—hopefully, it brings some fun!
As we approach the end of the marking period at the end of January, we want to remind students that there’s still an opportunity to improve grades. For those who have faced challenges during the first half of the year, the second half is a fresh start.
Here are some ways to get extra help:
- Teachers are available for extra help in their classrooms from 2:45 to 3:15, Monday through Thursday.
- Quiet Study is available from 2:45 to 3:45, Monday through Thursday.
Now is the time to take action—don’t wait until May when it might be too late to make meaningful changes!
We’re also excited to announce an author visit next week! The author will discuss writing techniques and share insights into her creative process. It promises to be an inspiring event.
There’s still so much to look forward to in the rest of the school year! If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to call the office or send us an email.
Have a wonderful weekend!
