KIDDIE CORNER πΆ
Meet Dylan!
Dylan is a true ray of sunshine who brightens our classroom every single day! He is always eager to lend a helping hand and is wonderful about sharing with his friends. His sweet nature and kindness never fail to bring smiles to those around him. Dylan especially loves music time, where he enjoys showing off his amazing dance moves, and you can often find him playing firefighter with his friends during playtime.
We are so lucky to have Dylan's cheerful spirit, big heart, and contagious smile as part of our Tot-Time family!
TEEN CENTER π
Meet Gretel!
Gretel has been an amazing addition to our Teen Programs this fall. Gretel is one of the teens who has not only made our Teen Fitness 101 possible but has helped it to come to life. Gretel shows up every week with great energy, enthusiasm, and questions about all things fitness related. Gretel has also filled our workouts with lots of story telling and laughter. Weβre very thankful Gretel has chosen to spend time at our programs, and hope to continue seeing Gretel in future programs!
Meet Elder!
Elder was a new face in our Teen Programs this fall, and quickly became a familiar and friendly face to see at programming. Elder is kind, friendly, and extremely inclusive to all teens that attended Teen Pick Up Basketball. Not only does Elder quickly become friends with the people around him, he is the first to go over to the kid who may not know anyone yet, or introduce himself to a staff member. Elder is one of those teens that quickly makes a great impression, not only on other people, but on our community itself. We are so thankful to have met Elder and gotten to know him, and hope to see him at future programs!
STAFF SHOUTOUT!
Brandon has been a backbone employee for the past 4 years. Brandon was the first employee to take initiative back at Edgerly Teen Center, and it was immediate that he had a gift of working with teens. Brandon is a great example of balanceβhe can joke and connect with teens while also having the courage to speak up to them when needed. Over the years, Brandon continues to be someone that teens look forward to seeing when they walk into a program. No matter where life takes him career wise, Brandon continues to make the effort to work at our Teen Programs. From intramural volleyball coach, to adaptive programs, and teen programs, Brandon exudes the βheartβ we have at Recreation. Heβs the first to jump in if you need a player, to talk to the teen sitting alone, or joke with a teen he hasnβt seen in a while.
Thank you Brandon for all youβve done and continue to do!
